A Hawaii Marriage License is a legal document
This document identifies a legally married couple. To apply for a marriage license, you must be at least 15 years of age. You must also be a U.S. citizen or a resident of the state. The age to marry is 18 for both men and women. If you are under 18 years of age, you must obtain the consent of your parents, legal guardian or family court. The agency (Department of Health) that issues marriage licenses has forms available. The Hawaii Department of Health maintains an online marriage license service for those who are unable to visit the office in person. You can also call the department to find out more information. If you are under the age of eighteen, you may have to apply through a local court. To apply for a Hawaii marriage license, you must present a copy of your identification as well as a $65 fee. To apply, you can visit the State Building in downtown Honolulu or do it online through their web portal.
