James, a Honolulu-based wedding officiant, brings a unique perspective and deep appreciation for Hawaii to every ceremony he performs. Born in China and raised in Hawaii since the age of five, James embraces the Aloha spirit and understands the significance of celebrating love and commitment in this beautiful island paradise.
James' journey to becoming a wedding officiant began after over two decades of involvement in the wedding industry. He is passionate about performing meaningful ceremonies that reflect each couple's unique love.
When he is not officiating weddings, James enjoys hitting the gym, spending time with his wife, two daughters, and their beloved dogs, Chewie and Solo, at their home on East Oahu.
Before becoming a Hawaii wedding officiant, James owned and operated a video production company that specialized in wedding films.
Married to his wife since 1996, James believes in marriage. During his free time, James enjoys hiking, cooking and going to the gym; but most of all, spending time with family and friends.
